Start at the output
Check your Mac’s listening device and Meridian’s Audio Monitoring route. If headphones or an interface disconnected, the intended output may no longer be available. Verify the system volume without changing the project mix first.
Inspect the sequence
Confirm that the playhead crosses an audio clip. Check clip gain, track gain, Mute, Solo, and bus routing. A soloed unrelated track can make other material disappear from the mix.
Play the original source to see whether it contains the expected audio. If the source is silent too, timeline faders cannot restore missing recording content.
Separate monitoring from delivery
Export a short range with Include audio mix enabled and play it independently. Monitoring chooses where you listen; delivery settings determine the exported mix. An unexpected export needs a check of both the captured job settings and the sequence’s audio states.
When reporting a problem, include the sequence timecode, affected source, listening device, and whether the exported file reproduces it.
