Turn on a guide
Use the viewer’s Safe areas control to review text and important image elements. Guides help you judge placement; they are not extra picture content intended to appear in the finished movie.
A safe margin is especially useful for lower thirds, chapter labels, and subtitles. Leave additional room when a publishing interface may cover part of a vertical image.
Inspect the whole interval
Check the first, middle, and final visible moments of an animated element. An entrance can briefly move outside the intended area even when the resting position is correct.
For a moving subject, review framing across the shot. A static crop that looks right at one moment may lose the subject later.
Reframe each deliverable
A landscape composition does not automatically become a good portrait composition. Create a separate format copy, reposition important content, and check text wrapping and guide placement in that sequence.
Inspect the actual export at the intended size. Viewer guides assist composition; the exported file is the final check of what the audience sees.
